WELCOME TO THE MAYO SCHOOL OF DANCE

The Mayo School of Dance offers high standard performing
arts education for children aged 3 upwards. Ballet,
Modern, Lyrical, Jazz and Musical Theatre classes are

taught by a professional staff of trained and experienced

teachers, who will help your child develop their talents.

Our staff follow a set curriculum and use positive attitudes

to motivate and inspire students to appreciate dance and

performing. Our students get to experience performances,

IDTA dance exams, competitions and auditions.

Students have enjoyed a range of successes - appearing

on National television, starring in a West End musical,

performing internationally, excellent exam results each

year and winning both National and World dance titles!

The school was founded in 2004 by Toni Howe beginning
with just 2 classes a week. The
school has now taken over by professional ballet dancer
and West End star, Leighton Morrison AIDTA

Classes are available at all levels, from beginner to

pre-professional. Both recreational and competitive

classes are offered. We believe children gain great

benefits, both physically and mentally, as well as great

pleasure from dance, whether it’s serious or just for

fun! Most importantly we offer a fun, friendly and

encouraging environment and teach our students

that hard work produces great achievements!
