July 2011

ENROLMENT
Enrolment for the 2011/2012 term is now taking place. Parents can find all latest class
information on the site and can enrol by calling Leighton on 0857441396.

2011/2012 TERM
A current timetable can be found by
clicking here. Students who attended last term have a place held in class for next term.
Parents should call Leighton to confirm what classes their child will attending and to let
him know if they will be changing class or taking any additional classes.

NEW VENUE FOR BALLINA CLASSES
Ballina classes will now be taking place at the newly completed dance studio at the new
Ballina Arts Centre. This will now mean our students can finally enjoy the benefits of
sprung floors, mirrored walls and ballet barres!

THE LION KING & FRIENDS
On the 21st we all got to enjoy a wonderful performance of ‘The Lion King’ by our
ballet, tap, jazz and song & dance students, followed by a range of fantastic routines
by our Glee Club, Elite Team, Irish dancers, Advanced Tap & Jazz students, and
soloists Emma Hegarty, Claire Hegarty, Karen Kelly, Lauren Thornton, Karen Horan
and Emma Clasby. All the students put on a great show for their families and friends.

PRESCHOOL SHOW
Our Preschool classes put on a lovely little show for parents on the 23rd. The dancers
demonstrated their exercises from class along with a selection of routines. This was the
first time on stage for some of the students, and they all had a great time performing!

HIP-HOP, CHEERLEADING & GYMNASTICS DISPLAY
On the 24th our hip-hop, cheerleading and gymnastics students put on a little display
for their parents and friends. They showed their warm ups and stretches followed by
selection of routines. The show finished with a demonstration of amazing stunts and
tumbling by the national cheerleading squad, coached by Ace High,
